Our mailbox door would not shut, the red flag was no longer red and it’s black color wasn’t really black anymore. This kit allowed me to touch up the black color with the spray paint. We were able to replace the door part so that it would close again. The flag we tried to replace but our mailbox flag was a slightly smaller size so I used a red nail polish to paint the flag. I also replaced both knobs with your brass knobs and also purchased new brass house numbers to replaced the old withered ones. Now our mailbox looks like new !

The kit IMHO is overpriced but it sure did the trick with making our mailbox look like new. Very easy to change the hardware and paint the mailbox. Be sure to clean the mailbox well.

This is a great bundle to make your mailbox looking brand new. The only feedback I have is to please include bolts to your hinges as the old ones were old and rusted, so I needed to purchase them from Lowe’s.
