This warrant agreement is made effective as of the date October, 20th 2023 and applies to all products sold by Imperial Mailbox Systems

Warranty Coverage: 

Imperial Mailbox Systems warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer.

Limitation of Damages:

In no event shall Imperial Mailbox Systems be liable for consequential damages for breach of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages do the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to the buyer. 

Remedy: 

During the warranty period, Imperial Mailbox Systems will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product that proves to be defective. The remedy provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy for the purchaser.

Warranty Exclusions: 

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence.

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications or alterations to the product will void this warranty.

  • Improper Installation: Products not installed in accordance with Imperial Mailbox's installation instructions are not covered by this warranty.

  • Force Majeure: Imperial Mailbox Systems is not responsible for damages resulting from events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of nature, accidents, or vandalism.

  • Third-Party Products: Any products or components not manufactured by IMS are not covered by this warranty.

Claim Procedure: 

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

  • Notify Imperial Mailbox Systems: Contact Imperial Mailbox Systems within 7 days of discovering the defect. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.

  • Return Authorization: Obtain a return authorization from Imperial Mailbox Systems before returning the product. The purchaser is responsible for shipping costs to return the product.

  • Evaluation: Imperial Mailbox Systems will evaluate the product to determine if it is covered by the warranty. If covered, Imperial Mailbox Systems will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product.

  • Exclusions: If the warranty claim is denied, Imperial Mailbox Systems will provide a written explanation of the reasons for the denial and ship the product back to the return address if requested.

IMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
